Two dogs found at intersection of Mann Rd and Mills Rd at 11a on Tuesday, 12/3. Both female. One older German Shepherd and the other is a younger tan and white mix breed. No collars. Very friendly. Seem to be from the same household.

Male dog picked up inside the IMS. No microchip or tags.

Foster will be needed by Friday if no owners step forward. Apply to foster at www.speedwayanimalrescue.org/foster-application

The dog is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a carrier (cat) or leash (dog) to Speedway Street Department to claim your animal.

The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.

The animal will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dogs to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.

Hello! Michigan Road Animal Hospital @ Crooked Creek. This sweet old man was found in a ravine off raymond road across the Didfit Studio. He is safe and warm at our hospital. Please contact us at 317.291.3932 with proof if this is your pet. He is malnourished and needs medical attention!
