Male dog picked up at 21st and Gerrard on Saturday morning. He is microchipped, but the phone number is no longer in service. His name on the chip is Helio, and his owner is listed as Charles Senter.
The animal is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a carrier (cat) or leash (dog) to Speedway Street Department to claim your pet.
The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.
For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
