Male min pin picked up inside IMS yesterday. He is microchipped and his name is “Tonto.” We are currently trying to get in touch with owners.

He is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a leash to Speedway Street Department to claim your dog.
The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.
For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The dog will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dog to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.

Found male intact Shepard..Shephard mix NOT CHIPPED. He was chasing cars on N. Mitchner Ave off East Washington Street. He has a collar on but no contact information. He is very sweet and friendly. He is currently in my back yard with shade, food and water. I cannot keep him as my dog is not friendly. IACS cannot take him until MAYBE Wednesday.
