I lost my dog today His name is Kong his main colors are black and white. He has a red color on. Weighs about 15-20 pounds. He is a boy. Kong was rescued from an abusive home so he is a very timid dog when you first approach him. He won’t really let you get close to him at first until he sniffs you and feels that you don’t have any bad intentions. He is an extremely loving dog the last thing he’ll do is nip at you. He doesn’t know what it means to bite someone. I miss my dog please help me find him. He isn’t even a year old

This sighting was posted on nextdoor today by someone else. I’m posting for visibility. Dog was seen around 9AM in the Northbrook neighborhood (Ditch & 79th). Dog seems to have an injured leg, no collar.

This sweet dog was found on a neighborhood front porch. She was shy and shivering. She’s since relaxed and is a sweet, friendly pup.

We went to the vet, she is chipped. Unfortunately, the phone numbers associated with the chip are from Chicago and no longer in service. The address is a rental, so no more info could be obtained.
