Two intact, well behaved/trained, very thin male dogs are roaming my neighborhood. I gave them food and water but cannot take them in bc my dogs is very dog aggressive. Found on 25th street between Boulevard and Highland Place 46208. Highland Vicinity neighborhood, approx 25th and Capitol.

Super friendly, way too skinny black cat with green eyes, a brown undercoat, and somewhat disproportionately large paws. The cat has a green collar with a bell but no tag. This cat very clearly has been someone’s pet somewhat recently. This cat was also pregnant when first seen but seems to have delivered without any sign of kittens since. Despite having a collar, this cat is very clearly neglected and likely has fleas, given the scabbing on the backside and backs of the ears. This cat loves to roll around on the ground and flop at your feet.

Male dog picked up at 22nd and Gerrard. No microchip or tags.

The animal is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a carrier (cat) or leash (dog) to Speedway Street Department to claim your pet.

The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The animal will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the animal is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the animal to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.
