At 1 AM in Marion County I found this male dog in the middle of the street on East Street a little north of lincoln Street. In a couple hours I’m going to get him scanned for a microchip and I’m also going to go to the location where I found him and get the exact crossroad but that’s the main area where I found him. He is at my house right now. I gave him a bath and fed him and I cut about 30 mats off of his paws and around his buttocks he also had dried blood on the right side of his neck where he was attacked by maybe another animal or something. When I pulled up, I rolled my window down and asked him if he was OK and he walked over to me so I opened my passenger door up and he hopped right in so I put my coat in the seat and he curled up in a little ball and went to sleep. I really would like to find his owner because I can tell that he had an owner because he’s well fed. I think he might’ve just got lost during the snowstorm possibly and he’s been fending for himself for a little while based on his appearance. He’s extremely well behaved and he’s such an angel. I just wanted to protect him tonight and keep him safe, but I can only keep him for a day or two so I really hope I can find his owner. Please contact me day or night and I will bring him to you, but I require proof of ownership because I wanna make sure that you are the actual owner and that he’s going to a safe place because I don’t want him to be in the situation again it’s heartbreaking and I wish that I could keep him if I can’t find the owner, but unfortunately, I can’t do to my circumstances of where I’m living currently otherwise I would. So please help me find the owner he desperately deserves to be with his family. Also, I’m using my dad‘s Facebook because I don’t use Facebook or anything like that so I’m using his account so I could post this. Thank you and I will be keeping him safe in the meantime.
