Pet is a large (100+ lbs) Black Lab. He is extremely friendly with both humans and other dogs, not wearing a collar, has dirty black fur, loves to be pet, and may be malnourished. (I gave him a bowl of food and he completely wolfed it down). He has a very distinctive burn spot around his right eye, which the picture shows very well. This may be from some kind of abuse or mistreatment. When he is looking around, the white of that eye is also very raw and pink looking, probably from the same injury. He was seen around 30th and Guilford Avenue. Given that I have only seen him in the last day or two, he was likely abandoned here by negligent (and possibly abusive) owners.
