Black male dog found, appears to be a lab/pit mix, approx 40 lbs. very friendly, athletic. Follows commands, well groomed. Appears to be young probably 2-4yo. Dog was scanned for a chip, no chip was detected. He was found running lose behind Trader Joe’s & near Juicy Seafood on 86th St in Indianapolis & Yardley Court Condomimiums. Dog ran up to us as we were getting out of the car. Dog was wearing a collar but was without tags. Multiple drives through the area yielded nobody looking for their lost dog. Dog was taken to a nearby shelter so that he would be protected from the excessive heat. Proof of ownership is required, as well as description of dogs collar.
