Female cat approximately 6-8 months of age found wandering in Indianapolis neighborhood and brought in to emergency clinic by a good Samaritan for limping, seen in the area for some weeks before being picked up. Good Samaritan did not leave information as to the exact location she was found in. Kitty is extremely friendly and affectionate, knows the sound of a can of cat food being opened – I suspect she must have had an owner at some point. No palpable spay scar. She appears to have been hit by a car some weeks ago; she has a healing wound and her left femur was broken and healed badly. She can walk but her left femur is not connected to her hip socket and she is not able to jump. Major surgery on the joint may help but the leg will never be normal again. Otherwise healthy and FIV/FeLV negative. Currently in foster with IACS.
