Just helped an ACO get a young, mostly black pit mix with a white flash on his chest who was running on 38th St. between Mitthoeffer and Post. I’m guessing a year old or maybe less, still growing into his paws. I did not get a picture, but will add it here once they post their found animals for the day.
I’m not seeing a lost listing that matches him, but thought I should say something here.

Very sweet pittie, very scared but just wants to be a lap dog, 59#, checked for microchip and there isn’t one. Thin white stripe in the middle of his face. I can’t keep him so he’s going to have to go to animal control if they can take him. Love to find his owner today instead!

There are two dogs currently behind our fence in the Smithfield subdivision near Combs Rd and County Line Rd.

Unfortunately, we cannot get them over the fence due to the barbed wire at the top. They appear to definitely know each other and are sticking close together. Both dogs look very shiny, clean, and well cared for — clearly very loved!
