Doberman spotted near Plainfield Auto Repair attempting to cross to the north side of Main St in Plainfield. He got to the median and turned back south not actually crossing the street. Adult dog with clipped tail, I believe.

Ginny got spooked when the smoke alarms were going off while cooking dinner. The front door was opened to air it out. This is very unlike her. She is not wearing a collar but she is microchipped. She is very friendly but presumably scared as she has never been outside before.

Found mama dog along with a puppy. Both are mostly black with white markings. No collar, no way for me to check for a chip and no way to get to a vet. I will hold on to them until tonight. Mama is antsy like she might have puppies elsewhere so I don’t know how long she’ll stick around. Puppy is content sleeping in my dog’s bed. They both seem in decent health aside from being dirty.

UPDATE: The mama has left the building but puppy is still with me at this moment.
