Sighting: Saw a black and white spotted dog in the parking lot of Meijer on Marlin Dr in Greenwood today around 6:30 PM. I believe it was some sort of poodle mix, but I wasn’t able to get any pictures. It was also wearing a collar with a red bow tie on it. It ran away and we lost sight of it, unfortunately.

Two dogs spotted this morning around 8:15 am on N Sheridan Ave off of E 42nd St. Going in and out of the street and up to houses in neighborhood area. Couldn’t get a picture or take them because I was driving a van with clients for work. One was a golden retriever and the other was a smaller white/tan dog that looked similar to a Shiba Inu. Both seemed friendly and a bonded pair and wanted to come up to the van. Neither had collars on. Keep thinking of these pups and hope they are safe 🥲

This dog appeared to be a white German Shepherd. I believe he was a young (ish) adult and he was definitely a male. He seemed to be in good health, as in he looked to be a healthy weight, I could not observe any injuries, and he was running/walking normally. He did not have a collar. He was basically at the edge of the northern border woods of Marott Park between College & Westfield.

Sighting: large, white German Shepherd, likely male, dusty, skinny, skittish, no collar, lost: spotted heading South at 75th & Westfield Blvd at 7:20pm. He walked into traffic both on Westfield Boulevard, as well as on 75th Street.

My concern is that he is a stray with no home.

He came from North on the Monon Trail, headed west on 75th and then ducked into the Marriot Preserve entrance heading south on the East side of the bridge over Williams Creek.
