Spotted a green quaker parrot/monk parakeet on the southeast side of Indianapolis. It responded immediately to flock calls and flew between a few different trees and the power lines on Franklin Road in the area.

One single chicken is at 30th and Franklin, in the grass on the southwest corner, across from the garden center. It is small, plucking away at the grass. There was another report a couple days ago about an unknown animal at that location so it has probably been there for a few days.

Not sure if this is someone’s pet. I couldn’t get a real good pic. Never seen this type of bird before. Looks like a Blue Budgie??
