Sweet Pitt was found off of 12th and Rural Sunday night. Unfortunately was in a fight right after being rescued off the busy street. Need owner to call Animal Control if this is your babe. Green color no tags. Dark grey and white dog around 100lbs. Animal Control said they would see if microchipped hoping he was.

They are currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a leash to Speedway Street Department to claim your dogs.

If no owner comes forward, a foster will be needed by Friday. Apply to foster at www.speedwayanimalrescue.org/foster-application

The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The dogs will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dog to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.

I found this baby well actually the baby found me at the gas station off of 28th\30th & post rd I was walking out and they ran right up to me tried to cross the road with me so we put a keychain around the collar and helped them across with us I couldn’t leave them just running the streets ik this baby is absolutely missed
