Update: they are not microchipped. Need to find someone who is willing to foster the until a shelter can take them!! Get them out of this heat

Found: two huskies last night outside my neighbors house. They are so sweet and friendly. Posted on next door, ring, and Indy lost pets. Hancock county animal control doesn’t have space to take them. Still pretty young and small-ish. They are so thirsty since today was such a hot day. My husband saw them yesterday morning too. They stayed on our porch all night.

Know whose they are? Want them? Any ideas what to do with them ? (we can’t keep them)

Foster will be needed by Monday if no owner comes forward. Apply to foster at www.speedwayanimalrescue.org/foster-application

She is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a leash to Speedway Street Department to claim your dog.

The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The dog will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dog to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.
