Male dog picked up at 15th and Auburn with a Great Pyrenees. No microchip or tags.

If no owner comes forward, foster will be needed by Monday. Apply to foster at www.speedwayanimalrescue.org/foster-application

He is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a leash to Speedway Street Department to claim your dog.
The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The dog will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dog to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.

Found Schnauzer in Fort Ben Area

She has no collar or tags. She was chipped, but has a unique ID number and we have been unable to locate her people.

I found her in the road on Lee Rd. Between Otis Ave. And 59th st. near the YMCA and Fort Ben library. She is very sweet and friendly and, while wary of me as a stranger, she let me approach her. She comes when called, and jumped right up into my car when I opened the door. She is a silky/curly silver-grey girl with white paws, and a longer white beard and eyebrows. Please let me know if you know her people! I’m taking care of her but would love to get her back home. She is well-groomed and clearly very loved.

Female American Staffordshire Terrior / Pit Bull Mix found at Fallwood Apartments in between Binford, Fall Creek Parkway, Emerson Way, 46th and 56th Street.

Identifying markers – left paw is white with white nails and one back white nail. Large nipples indicating she has been pregnant before, but looks like she was spade after the fact. Vet estimated she is between 1.5 and 2 years old.

She has been lost for nearly 2 weeks, so I am posting once more now that I know her breed to see if I can find her owners. Due to her well mannered nature, attachment anxiety, and high drive to escape to look for me when I am away, I believe she was not dumped and that she ran away from home.

This dog was found near 38th street and German Church road by someone else. She was seen with another dog who was not able to be captured. In our search for our own missing dog we went to see her and decided to foster this dog as the person who found her could not keep her. We will be going to check for a chip later today (Thurs 9/19). She’s very sweet and quiet.
