My husband found this medium sized, black and white dog wearing a red collar and blue leash still attached. First spotted at the corner of Alvord St and 17th Street in Old Northside downtown Indianapolis (right near the Monon Trail). Poor guy(or girl) is scared so runs when Grant gets close, so can’t read the collar to see if there is identifying information. We have called animal control to see if they can get a closer look at the tag and identify the owners. Grant is staying with the dog until they arrive!!
Update: Dog is a pitbull mix of some sort, intact male. Collar without identifying information. Grant sent me a closer up photo that I will add (Grant was able to lure him closer with treats). He says he’s very smart and knows commands, but appears to have been missing for at least a few days – emaciated and with torn leash.
