Pet was found by our neighbor on Mon, 3/27; however, couldn’t take on the responsibility. On Tues, 3/28, we took this Grey & White female pit mix to IndyVet Emergency & Specialty Hospital to see if she was microchipped; however, nothing was found after multiple efforts. No Tags on her collar.

Afterwards, we took her to get thoroughly bathed. She doesn’t appear to have any fleas or ticks.

She appears to not have been spayed. Looks like she’s had a litter or two. She might even be pregnant now, hard to say… you can definitely see pronounced rib cage & spine from malnourishment, but carrying weight on her underside & underbelly. Weighs ~45 lbs.

Caring for her best we can for the time being, but it’d be great if we can reunite her with family that recognizes her. Photos attached.
