Found in Eller Trails, near Fishers Heritage Park. Was not wearing collar or leash at the time. He is now at Hamilton Humane. He is chipped and they could not get a hold of registered owner at the time I brought him in.

I was driving home from work on Wednesday night and saw this sweet boy wandering into street traffic, almost getting hit repeatedly by different vehicles, near the intersection of E German Church Rd and N Briarbrook Blvd., close to the DG Market location.

I was able to get him to come over to me and then secured him as best I could. He had no collar or ID tags. I took him to Indianapolis Animal Care Services at 5001 E. Raymond St., where they scanned him and were not able to detect a microchip anywhere.

I think he is a mutt. Google Images suggested he might be a German Shepherd Mix, a Belgian Malinois Mix or a Carolina Dog. He seems to have been well cared for and is very friendly – obviously, he had a family. His teeth are bright white, so I suspect he is fairly young, maybe 2 to 3 years old.

He looks like he was neutered, but I’m not 100% sure.
