Two male dogs picked up at Speedway Water Plant (10th and Annex Dr). No microchip or tags.
Fosters will be needed by Friday if no owner steps forward. Apply to foster at www.speedwayanimalrescue.org/foster-application
They are currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a leash to Speedway Street Department to claim your dogs.
The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.
For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The dog will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dog to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their ordinanced 4-day stray hold.
