Sadie is about 7 pounds, 6 year old unspayed female. She is wearing a flea & tick collar but no collar with tags. She is also not microchipped. She was wearing her pink/red sweater as seen in the photo. Her tail is shaved like a lion; and her tongue sticks out a little bit due to missing teeth. Sadie has a complex medical history and it is very important I get her back. I think someone took her trying to be helpful due to the cold but I am lost without her, as is her dog/cat brothers and sisters. She is very friendly and loves everyone.

Female dog allegedly picked up on 16th and Main St. No microchip or tags.

The animal is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a carrier (cat) or leash (dog) to Speedway Street Department to claim your pet.

The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The animal will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the animal is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the animal to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.
