If you are missing a grey short haired tabby cat. Smaller, max age around 6 I would assume,
with a tail that looks like a raccoon. I regret to inform you that it was ran over by a car and is deceased.
Area was S Dan Jones road, right infront of the Meijer gas station. Shout out to the Meijer employee who gave me gloves and a bag.
I was able to move the baby to the left side of the road and laid a piece of cardboard over the sweet baby.
I called the non emergency police line and they said they would send someone out tomorrow, as animal control is closed for the night.
I did explain that the baby was in pretty rough shape and that I didn’t feel comfortable waiting till the morning for them to pick up. Just due to the fact that I didn’t want anyone else to have to see an animal in that state. She said that she would try to get someone out if possible.
Unfortunately, because the baby was in such rough shape I was unable to tell a gender. Again, if this is your kitty I am so sorry for your loss.
