2 cats in the area of Carrington Commons at Troy and Arlington. Anyone lose this pretty little sweetheart? She has been hanging around for close to a couple of weeks now. I’ve been asking neighbors. She has been quite skittish and Very terrified until yesterday. She came up to me yesterday and I was able to pet her and she stayed close to me. She was someones pet at some point. Very gentle. I think she possibly (?) has sunburned ears. They are white ears with grey at the base. She may be coming in to heat (?) or is just wanting to roll around a lot.
Now, as of 4 days ago, a second cat appeared. I do not have a picture of him/her yet. All black DSH. The black cat is now hanging or at least trying to keep up with and hang with this other one. It has an issue. I have seen it and observed it many times over the past few days. It does not appear to be sickly. It’s skittish and it walks and kinda runs, but with stiff legs, that are somewhat splayed out some. It’s movements are ackward. I fear for it, as it is not going to be able to get out of the way of a car fast enough or run and get away from a dog or coyote or fair well in a cat fight. I do not believe it has Rabies. If I did, I would not be making a post, I’d be calling AC. It acts and looks fine, it just moves odd with the legs. It is slower than the other cat, but trys to keep up and follow it. It could be from some kind of old injury or born that way. My best guess is that it is possibly a Neurological issue. I see no visible wounds and it appears to act like a normal cat, other than the movement of the legs. I am hoping to get them some help, if I can. If any rescue is able to help them, please inform me of them or advise who I could contact. (Food and water are being set out.) I appreciate anyone reaching out to help. Thank you in advance!
