Saw a male, three legged rottweiler-looking dog roaming around the red line station on the corner of 42nd and College Avenue. The dog had a worn multi color collar. The dog was large but looked a bit skinny — I could see his ribs poking through his stomach. Seemed to be in okay spirits though, sniffing and hobbling around.

Spotted a large White and Black Alaskan Malamute or Husky mix dog and a small/medium tan terrier dog running north on Hillside Ave toward 52nd Street around 10:40 AM on Sunday, Feb. 4. Called and whisted to the dogs but they did not respond, did not seem aggressive. They continued north on 51st to the gate at the end of the street and turned east into the alley near Willow Brook Apartments at 52nd Street.

Lab/Great Dane mix first spotted around 54th and College. I followed via car to 52nd and the monon before it jumped fences and ran through backyards. Very skittish and wouldn’t let me get close enough to leash and would not approach offered food. No collar.
