Just helped an ACO get a young, mostly black pit mix with a white flash on his chest who was running on 38th St. between Mitthoeffer and Post. I’m guessing a year old or maybe less, still growing into his paws. I did not get a picture, but will add it here once they post their found animals for the day.
I’m not seeing a lost listing that matches him, but thought I should say something here.

Two medium-sized dogs were seen in my backyard. One has mostly black fur, and the other is a lighter brown color. They appeared scared, hungry, and cold. I tried to approach them, but they ran off before I could get close.

There are two dogs currently behind our fence in the Smithfield subdivision near Combs Rd and County Line Rd.

Unfortunately, we cannot get them over the fence due to the barbed wire at the top. They appear to definitely know each other and are sticking close together. Both dogs look very shiny, clean, and well cared for — clearly very loved!
