On June 5th there was a dog dumped in Greenfield. The owner tried to surrender her to Animal Management. But because of certain circumstances they were unable to take her in. So the lady drove a couple miles away and dumped her at Blue and Mackenzie on her way back to Richmond. She was then caught a few days later behind Home Depot by Greenfield Animal Management. Unfortunately she was outside in a fenced-in area and jumped a 6-ft fence and another exterior fence and was lost again. She had been staying in the Greenfield area for a couple weeks and food stations were established. Today she was spotted in the cornfields headed west to New Pal. I’m not sure if she’s going to keep going that direction but just in case I wanted everybody to know what she looked like and where this dog belongs. And please comment if there are any sightings and call Animal Management. This little girl has been on the run for 2 weeks…she’s terrified. She won’t come to anybody. She has lost all her trust in humans. If you do see her please do NOT chase her. I’ve spotted her a few times. She wants to come to somebody but she is so unsure. Her name is Rhonda. Offer her food or a treat if she isn’t interested just report the sighting please. There is a pinned post in the Greenfield Gabber. I hope at some point she will let someone help her. She may turn back up in her favorite spot tomorrow. 🤞 Animal Management will be opened back up.
