I found a very sweet black cat early this morning. I took her to a vet to be scanned, but unfortunately, she does not have an identifying microchip.

This cat is all black except for a few white hairs on her belly, and her tail is bobbed (amputated about 3 inches from the base). The vet and I estimate her to be a young adult, and she is a healthy weight and size. She has all of her claws, is extremely social, and has an indent in her fur where a breakaway collar might have been. I took her in off the landing outside my door around 6:40am, but she had been outside in the Polo Run apartment complex for a couple hours (some of my neighbors had already set out water for her).

If anyone is missing this sweet girl, please, PLEASE give me a call at 267.664.2479 (my cell). Be ready to provide proof of ownership, too. I would love to get her back to her person!

DECEASED – Contact finder for photo.

No collar, ears not clipped, has claws. Has not been neutered.
His coat is predominantly grey, darker grey in the body and getting lighter around the face. His nose is pink with black edges.

Looks like a sweet boy.

Found deceased on south side of 12th in the grass between sidewalk and street. Local neighbor reported seeing him deceased in same spot earlier this morning. We did not move him and didn’t check for microchip.

Did not see him listed in the missing cats.
